The Albion General Records Office is a private, community-based records office founded under the auspices of The People’s Council of Albion. We exist to help individuals and organisations keep their most important private documents safe, secure, and properly recorded — for evidence, history, and peace of mind

What We Do

We receive, seal, and safely store private documents and instruments of every kind —affidavits, declarations, wills, agreements, notices, deeds, and more. Each document is date-stamped, sealed, and securely archived. Creating independent proof of its existence at a given time.

Every document entrusted to The Albion General Records Office is treated as strictly private and confidential. We never release or share the contents of your documents without your written consent. All data is handled in full accordance with UK data-protection laws, and our digital archives are encrypted and backed-up securely every day.

Certificates and Copies

When you record a document, you can request an official Certificate of Record, confirming its title, date, and record number. You may also order certified true copies or extracts, each bearing the official seal of The Albion General Records Office — perfect for reference, evidence, or safekeeping elsewhere.

A Service for the People

The Albion General Records Office is not a government department or a court. We operate privately, in honour and good faith, as an evidential and custodial service for the community. All of our services are offered free, although no-obligation, voluntary donations are graciously accepted and very much appreciated, to help cover our operating costs.
